I write my poems to try to understand myself.

I'm so hung up on self-denial that i can't even
be honest with myself. for myself. so i stumble around
Write subconsciously. and later-much later. I Read it and say
"oh.
that's where that came from."
"oh
that's what i feel."
Because I'm just as complicated-inside as out.

Confused as i am..



For every man and woman gone,
We add verses to our song.
And see,
Our song is growing long,
Still yet to reach the end. . .
And I'm so sick of silence.
And how everything means nothing.

I've been feeling crushed lately.
Suffocating on the things I just couldn't bring myself to say.
Wishing for a center alignment to show you that every piece is still here.
But baby, let's just face the fact that I'm broken in my madness.



I miss a lot of things these days...
Who I was before i met u, I Miss.
The way the rain falls down on these warm nights, I Miss.
And the way you twist my words into everything their not.
I Miss every mistake and every erase mark on the paper.


Because all I wanted was for everything to be ok.
but nothing's okay. when the sky shattered worse than my heart.
And your hands couldn't let go of the door handle long enough
to catch me.




My passion died away today; almost.
it's still there but it's going to take some time
to make it shine again.

Eyes of frosty glaze and beauty,
Ears that now hear words of truth.
Trust, no longer all in vain,
Thoughts of thee, my glimmer of hope.
A touch that holds so much distant
Yet, is present within my heart.
Do I pray a prayer that now holds an answer?
I say I do... and believe it to be true.






These eyes speak with liberty,
they long so to create a storm within your soul...
To visit the day when fever few
Is no longer searched for.
The frosty glaze has turned
To beautiful blown glass-
To be admired and untouched by hand
But by a tender heart such as thine.
